How do I create an account?
Click Register at the top right of any page. Enter your name, email address, and a password. We will send you a verification code β€” enter it to activate your account.
Is it free to join?
Yes. Creating an account is completely free. Some courses are free to enrol in; others require a one-time purchase. You can browse all course details without an account.
Can I use UPEO Academy on my phone?
Yes. The platform is fully responsive and works on any modern browser, including mobile. Video lessons stream directly from YouTube, so a stable internet connection is recommended.

Courses & Learning

How do I enrol in a course?
Open any course page and click the Enrol button. For free courses, access is granted immediately. For paid courses, you will be prompted to complete payment first.
Can I pause and resume a course?
Absolutely. Your progress is saved automatically every few seconds while you watch. When you return to a video, you can continue from where you left off.
Do courses expire?
No. Once you enrol in a course, you have lifetime access to the content.
How is my progress tracked?
The platform tracks how much of each video you have watched and whether you have completed it. A video is marked complete when you reach 90% or watch to the end. Your overall course progress is shown on the course overview page.

Certificates

When do I earn a certificate?
Course certificates are awarded automatically when you complete all required videos in a course that has certification enabled. You can download or share your certificate from the Certificates section of your dashboard.
Are the certificates verified?
Yes. Each certificate has a unique code that anyone can use to verify its authenticity on our platform.
Can I add my certificate to LinkedIn?
Yes. From the Certificates page, click the Share button on any certificate to get a shareable link and LinkedIn-ready format.

Payments & Billing

What payment methods are accepted?
We accept M-Pesa (Kenya), card payments, and bank transfers for institutional orders. Payment is processed securely β€” UPEO Academy never stores your card details.
Can I get a refund?
If you have not watched more than 10% of the course content, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase. Contact us at support@upeo.academy with your order details.
Do you offer institutional or team pricing?
Yes. We offer bulk enrolment packages for teams and organisations. Contact us at partners@upeo.academy for a quote.

Account & Privacy

How do I reset my password?
Go to the Login page and click Forgot password. Enter the email address on your account and we will send a reset link.
How do I update my profile?
Log in and navigate to Profile Settings from the left sidebar. You can update your name, username, headline, bio, company, and country.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account and all associated data, email support@upeo.academy from the address on your account. We will process the request within 30 days in line with our privacy policy.
